Ashnin was an old female squirrel resident of the same island as Urthwyte the Mighty and Loambudd. According to Loambudd, she was once a captive of the same foxes that chased Thrugg and Dumble on their quest to find the Flowers of Icetor. Ashnin was a very good archer and traveled to Salamandastron with Mara, Pikkle, and Guosssom to fight against Ferahgo the Assassin and his Corpsemakers.
