Bulrush Bower was a small pond in a clearing surrounded by bulrushes. It was the location of where a babe was stolen by an adder and rescued from the serpent by Asio Bardwing. This is also where Maudie Mugsberry Thropple made her first culinary triumph. It is also where the pie-fight occurred and the birth of Mad Maudie day.
