Burnby was a pretty female squirrel resident of a pinegrove near the coast. She was a daughter of Whurp and a member of the Coneslingers. Burnby led Triss and Shogg across the pinegrove while they were escaping from Princess Kurda and her Ratguards. Burnby was quiet and well-mannered, but also war-like.
