Abbey Leaders

This is a list of all known characters who have served as Abbess or Abbot of Redwall Abbey. Any kind-hearted creature with a good sense of duty and responsibility can become Redwall's leader, if elected by fellow Abbey dwellers or selected by Martin the Warrior. Traditionally, the ruler of Redwall is a mouse. However, squirrels, hedgehogs, a dormouse, a badger, and an otter have also held the position.
