Bellringers

This category lists all known bellringers of Redwall Abbey. They rang the bells to alert Abbey residents of danger and mealtimes. In The Legend of Luke and Mariel of Redwall, the "bellringers" used a hollow log to signal Abbey dwellers before the arrival of a physical bell.

From the time of Mariel of Redwall to the time of Redwall, the bellringers rang the Joseph Bell. After Matthias chopped the rope holding the Joseph Bell (an action in which led to the death of Cluny the Scourge), it was replaced by the twin Matthias and Methuselah bells.
