The following consists of known publisher errors, printing errors, and other related errors in published items relating to the Redwall series by Brian Jacques. These errors were never corrected unless otherwise stated, and are present in all versions of the items.
Blacksheep UK Pearls of Lutra[]
As revealed by the Redwall Wiki, the following error appears in the 2021 Blacksheep UK edition of Pearls of Lutra:
- "THE PEARLS OF LUTRA" is written as "THE PEARLS OT LUTRA" on the spine.
Martin the Warrior: Book Three - Battle of the Marshank[]
A 2014 CD audiobook for Martin the Warrior includes an unnecessary "the" in the printed title before Marshank.
Martin the Warrior: Book One - The Prisoner and the Tyrant[]
A 2014 CD audiobook for Martin the Warrior features horses on its cover artwork. There are no horses in Martin the Warrior, one horse only appears in Redwall.
Vintage Children's Classics Redwall[]
As revealed by the Redwall Wiki, the following errors appear in the 2014 Vintage Children's Classics edition of Redwall:
- In the "Who's Who in Redwall" section, Cornflower Fieldmouse is misnamed as Cornflower Churchmouse.
- Guosim, the female shrew, is given the male pronoun "he."
- The back cover refers to Matthias enlisting the help of "argumentative stoats" - that should be "argumentative shrews".
Firebird High Rhulain[]
As revealed by the Redwall Wiki, the following errors appear in the 2010 Firebird paperback of High Rhulain:
- The spine features artwork from the back cover of The Bellmaker.
- The back summary text misspells Riggu Felis as "Riggu Felisand".
Redwall: 20th Anniversary Gift Package[]
As revealed by the Redwall Wiki, the following error appears in the Redwall: 20th Anniversary Gift Package:
- The title page for Book Three reads "Book Two: The Warrior".
Loamhedge Audiobook CD[]
The 2004 CD audiobook for Loamhedge features the name for the character Bragoon misspelled as "Braggon" on the back cover.
Thomas Canty Fantasy Art Trading Cards[]
As revealed by the Redwall Wiki, the following errors appear in the Thomas Canty Fantasy Art Trading Cards:
- The card with the Mossflower cover artwork is identified as "Mattimeo."
- The card with the Mattimeo cover artwork is identified as "Mossflower."
- The Gabool the Wild card misspells Gabool as "Cabool."
Redwall Collector Cards[]
All series of the U.S. Redwall Collector Cards contain various misspellings and typos in their summaries. Please see the article for details.
Redwall - Captain Snow VHS Tape[]
The Nelvana Redwall TV Series season one Redwall - Captain Snow VHS tape has two typographical and spelling errors in its summary text on the back cover.
- Cheesethief is spelled as two words, "Cheese thief".
- Farlo is misspelled as "Furlo".
Redwall - Treachery VHS Tape[]
As observed by the Redwall Wiki, the original cover artwork for the 2000 UK release of Nelvana Redwall TV Series season one VHS tape Redwall - Treachery featured characters from season two on the front and back, including Slagar the Cruel and Orlando the Axe.
This was later corrected with updated cover artwork.
Mossflower (1996 audiobook)[]
The Mossflower 1996 audiobook features the following printing error:
- On the back cover, "Brockhall" is misspelled as "Brockall."
Mariel of Redwall Avon Paperback (1993)[]
Gabool the Wild carries a pirate pistol on the back cover of the 1993 U.S. Avon paperback edition of Mariel of Redwall, when guns do not exist in the world of Redwall. Cover artist Thomas Canty addressed this in an exclusive interview with the Redwall Wiki.
