Ferrul was a young haremaiden in the Long Patrol, serving under Violet Wildstripe, and part of the deputation sent by the Badger Lady to form an alliance between the Long Patrol Hares and the Rogue Crew Sea Otters with Rake Nightfur. She was one of the four hares to be drugged and captured by the Bloodrippers, but was rescued by the rest of the Long Patrol.
