Fishgill was the arrogant steersrat aboard the Darkqueen. When the rest of the crew followed Bigfang back to the Darkqueen, he was the only one who stayed back with Greypatch, who had been temporarily blinded. He survived an attack that Colonel Clary, Brigadier Thyme, Hon Rosie, and Pakatugg Treefleet had launched, but was tricked by Oak Tom into wandering into Flitchaye territory where he was presumably killed.
