Fortunata was a traitorous healer fox. She was originally hired by Lord Verdauga Greeneyes to heal him of his illness. However, she secretly agreed to poison him on behalf of his daughter, Tsarmina.
Once Verdauga was dead and Tsarmina firmly in charge, Fortunata received a high rank in the Thousand Eye Army. Eventually, Tsarmina sent Fortunata to spy on the woodlanders. The woodlanders sent Mask in the disguise of a fox named Patchcoat to lead her into Mossflower Woods where she was killed by Lady Amber and her squirrel archers.

Fortunata from Caverns of Kotir
Fortunata appears in Caverns of Kotir in The Lost Legends of Redwall (app). When Gillig is trying to find the entrance to Kotir, she descends stairs near The Gloomer's underground lake to check on guards.
She is also mentioned in The Scout when Pickerel Starthistle mentions her role in Verdauga's murder.
