Friar Gooch was a male squirrel Redwall Abbey Kitchen Friar during the time of Abbot Apodemus. Furrel was his assistant. Gooch helped break down the door of the Kitchen to get Dibbuns who had locked themselves inside. He and Furrel fed the defenders during the vermin attack against the Abbey.
