Frozen Shoulder is a Brian Jacques novel project that was scheduled for publication as of 1972, however it seems to have never reached the presses. The book was cited in Dockers as a celebration of Liverpudlian docker life inspired by the life of Brian Jacques himself.
"Frozen Shoulder" was allegedly short for "And Then There Was This Docker Who Had a Frozen Shoulder So His Mates Carried Him Into Work So He Could Get the Compo" and intended to be a story about "the life of a Liverpool docker" from the end of the war through Britain's decasualisation period.
