Furgale was a young male hare member of the Long Patrol under Lady Cregga Rose Eyes. He was friends with Trowbaggs and Algador Swiftback. His job before marching off with Lady Cregga's army was serving the officers of Salamandastron in the mess. Furgale fought alongside the Long Patrol in the Battle of the Ridge of a Thousand and was killed by Rapscallions along with Reeve Starbuck. Drill Sergeant Clubrush was close to Furgale, and grieved openly when he died.
