Gabriel Quill, also known as Gabe, was a male hedgehog resident of Redwall Abbey and the official Cellarmaster during the time of Abbot Bernard. He was the uncle of Durry Quill and a descendant of Brownspike O'Quill.
When Durry accompanied Mariel and Dandin on their journey to Terramort Isle, he renamed the ship Waveblade the Gabriel after his uncle. Gabriel was an old friend of Brother Hubert and Burgo.
By the events of The Bellmaker, Gabriel was said to have passed away.
