The Highland Kingdom is the home of Ungatt Trunn and Verdauga Greeneyes and their father, the Highland King Mortspear. Ungatt had greater ambitions beyond inheriting the Highland Kingdom, and set his eyes on ruling Salamandastron instead.
As the place is only mentioned by Groddil but never visited, little is known about it, other than that it lies in the mountains to the north of Mossflower Country.
