Kastern was a female mouse member of the Rambling Rosehip Players. She and Gauchee were the balancers, chorus singers, and cooks for the group. Kastern was also a member of the Fur and Freedom Fighters. During one of their battles against Badrang the Tyrant, she, Gauchee, Trefoil, and Celandine all helped erected a barricade. While they were under heavy fire from Badrang and his horde, Kastern crafted a bow for Groot.
