Merradink Forthright was a hedgehog from the southern branch of the Forthright family. He was the husband of Campathia Forthright, and the father of Pecunia Forthright. Merradink was in the habit of repeating his wife's words, and was referred to as "echo" by Nimbalo the Slayer.
