Lieutenant Morio was a male hare of the Long Patrol under Lady Cregga Rose Eyes and served with Major Perigord Habile Sinistra as Quartermaster. He was the uncle of Deodar, and known to be excellent with a sabre, training her in the use of the weapon. He was also described as a serious, saturnine hare, though he was far from without a sense of humor, good-naturedly ribbing Rockjaw Grang for becoming attached to baby Russano.
Morio took part in the war against the Rapscallions. He died during the Battle of the Ridge of a Thousand. His good friend Torgoch heavily mourned his death.
