Mr. Fieldmouse was a male mouse resident of Redwall Abbey. He was the husband of Mrs. Fieldmouse, father of Cornflower Fieldmouse, father-in-law of Matthias, grandfather of Mattimeo, and the great-grandfather of Martin II.
When Shadow from Cluny the Scourge's horde made his escape after stealing the tapestry of Martin the Warrior, Mr. Fieldmouse attempted to stop the rat by grabbing hold of him. This proved to be a bad decision, as Shadow stabbed him twice with his dagger.
He recovered quickly, and assisted the Redwallers in defending the walls from Cluny's attacks. After the battle with Cluny, he is not mentioned.
