Pennybright, often shortened to Penny, was a young female hare in the Salamandastron Long Patrol. She was skilled with both a bow and arrows and a javelin, and was also a fast runner. Pennybright went to scout with Big Oxeye and Sergeant Sapwood to the shore. The trio was trapped by Klitch, but Pennybright managed to escape, carrying news back to Salamandastron.
