The Walking Stone was a little tortoise named Rockbottom by Yoofus and Didjety Lightpaw. For the creatures in the Land of Ice and Snow, it is the symbol of power. It was stolen by Askor and hidden from his brother Gulo the Savage.
Yoofus Lightpaw found Rockbottom in Mossflower Woods, after Rockbottom uncovered himself from where Askor hid him.
Like other non-talking reptiles, Rockbottom was smart and responded by body motions such as nodding and smiling.
