Shorebuck was a sand-colored male hare in the Long Patrol, serving under Rawnblade Widestripe. He had been sent out on a patrol of the southern beaches, along with Fleetleg and Longeyes. When the trio returned to Salamandastron, they discovered the mountain was empty.
The three hares quickly found the entire crew of the Waveblade slain by Rawnblade after the Bloodwrath had descended upon him. He was a minor character and little else is known about him.
