Skipper was the male otter leader of Redwall Abbey. He had a patch over his right eye but could see very well with the left. Skipper managed to save the day during the preparation of the Abbey's Great Feast by catching a loose barrel of strawberry fizz which had fallen out of control.
Skipper and his otter crew also prepared a huge caldron of Hotroot Soup from an old recipe and made it extra hot by increasing the amount of hotroot pepper.
Riverjack was an otter in his crew.
