Slopgut was a fat weasel member of the Ravagers. He was part of a group of the vermin ordered to watch Redwall Abbey. When the young stoat Globby was reported to be inside Redwall, the team leader Daclaw sent Slopgut to go investigate. Slopgut was a minor character, nothing else is known.
