Sneezewort was a low-ranking male rat member of the Rapscallions. He was friends with another rat soldier, Lousewort. The pair were incredibly foolish, often showing their lack of intelligence, though Sneezewort was perhaps slightly smarter than Lousewort and often took advantage of him. Both rats became enemies of the weasel Hogspit after Sneezewort accidentally threw a ship's wheel at him.
After Lousewort's promotion to Rapscour, Sneezewort broke off their friendship. He also didn't want to talk to him initially after Lousewort's rapid demotion, but a fish that Lousewort had accidentally killed repaired the relationship. Later, Sneezewort and Lousewort were instructed to guard Midge Manycoats and Tamello De Fformelo Tussock, who were in disguise, but while Sneezewort collected firewood, the hares tricked Lousewort and escaped. Following Rinkul's advice, the two deserted the Rapscallions. Their fate is unknown.
