I think the crossbow is a very interesting Medieval-time weapon. It is one of my favorites because of its ingenuity and construction. I'd love to see a character, (perhaps a badger lord or other hero) wield one; it would be an awesome and menacing sight, but also an interesting and accurate (time-wise, as the Redwall novels take place in Medieval times) addition to the series. —This unsigned comment was added by 71.192.145.47 (talk • contribs) 00:26, 26 March 2007 (UTC). Technically a big crossbow is a ballista. Should we keep it as a crossbow because that's what it was called in the book?-Segalia Riverstorm, Archer Ottermaid Warrioress
