Is Tangle the webmaster? --LordTBT Talk! 02:16, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

All right, this is Tysharm Inoar, currently Ringleader of DAB. I want to know who decided it would be nice to insult the leadership of DAB on a public area. "Despite previous warnings to the contrary..." We were aware of Geocities closing for several months beforehand, and when the announcement came out, I checked with Geocities and they said free, easy transfer to their new web hosting for five years.
Obviously, this was false. The message history is a bit hazy, but please, do not insult other ROCers, ROC webmasters, and the like. Thank you.Tysharm 01:32, October 29, 2009 (UTC)
- Hi Tysharm, it's not an insult. According to Terrouge forum post here [1], contact was made. As of the time of that post, Geocities had announced that any new hosting with them would cost money. -- LordTBT Talk! 05:57, October 29, 2009 (UTC)
- There are also posts made on the DAB Tapestry forum 8/29/09, subject "59 Days"; subject "Urgent" 5/26/09, and posts made on the OOC Board; subject " I believe it now. ^^" 7/18/09. By my count, that's at least 4 posts with numerous responses which count as alerts. Nothing here is false. -- LordTBT Talk! 06:05, October 29, 2009 (UTC)
Leave no mistake, LordTBT, I most definitely saw these posts, even the Terrouge one. My point is, you're making us out to be something we're not. These warnings all said that geocities was closing. We knew this. None of them ever mentioned anything contrary to what we previously knew to be true, that the free hosting and easy transfer would occur. —This unsigned comment was added by Tysharm (talk • contribs) 01:38, October 30, 2009. - I have taken your testimony and factored that into the article. Please review. -- LordTBT Talk! 06:55, October 30, 2009 (UTC)
Personally, I think it would work better with told rather than under the impression, but I think I've gone too gung-ho about this. I believe it's a good compromise. Thanks. Tysharm 10:39, October 30, 2009 (UTC)
