This question sometimes puzzles me: Is Mokkan really the oldest of Marlfox siblings or Lantur the youngest? There is no mention about it in the book or haven't I read Marlfox carefully? Sitruunasooda Talk! 16:08, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
On pg 77 of the paperback it says Mokkan was the "self-appointed leader". Other then that, I'm not sure it specifically says. I don't have the book on hand, but I plan on checking once I'm home. --LordTBT

Lantur may be the youngest, as she was discribed to be "Smaller than her siblings, but I don't know if Mokkan is the oldest. Varkanax 39 00:53, March 12, 2010 (UTC)
I'm rereading this book for research, and there was something that Vannan, Predak or the last remaining male Marlfox that wasn't Mokkan said when they were recruiting Raventail's band; That ferrets had never served those of their kind. Seems random, but maybe it's worth mentioning...?--Are YOU Clock Worthy?

I thought that either Mokkan was the oldest or Lantur than the rest. --Lord Bluestripe

Pike vs Pikes[]
Not sure what dictionary was used, but the dictionary used in professional circles, Merriam-Webster, cites that the plural for fish, can be either pikes or pike. We were not in the wrong. However, further investigation shows that Mr. Jacques used the plural form "pike" in Legend of Luke, so we'll let it stand. -- LordTBT

- I'd just like to say that I looked it up in both the Oxford and Cambridge dictionaries. Both said that the plural for fish is just "pike" - it doesn't mention "pikes" as a plural form. I'd also like to add that the plural form "pike" was used in Lord Brocktree as well. --Jukka the Sling (talk) 23:35, March 24, 2014 (UTC)
