Cluny[]
Cluny the Scourge and his horde were mentioned in Redwall to have come down from the Northlands during the six years prior to the beginning of Redwall, although the book hints that Cluny simply came ashore in the Northlands and set off from there. Since he lived in the Northlands, he should be included in the list. —This unsigned comment was added by 207.216.222.107 (talk • contribs) 01:18, July 19, 2011. Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
- Cluny was alleged to be from many places, but there is no specific place known for sure, thus we cannot include him here. -- LordTBT Talk! 03:09, July 19, 2011 (UTC)
- Slagar referred to Cluny and his horde as being "rats from the north" in Mattimeo, although Chickenhound is hardly a reliable source of information, what with being insane and all. I didn't say Cluny was born and raised in the North, just that he terrorized the place for 6 years before moving south to Redwall, but you have a point, so I'll concede to you. 207.216.222.107 10:10, July 20, 2011 (UTC)

What about the residents of the Arfship? At the very least, shouldn't Welff Tiptip and Drunn_Tunneller be here? Shieldmaiden(talk) 04:14, October 4, 2013 (UTC)
Wow! I had no idea how many Northerners there are.--Alderjack the Treescamp (talk) 03:22, March 22, 2015 (UTC)

Why do the Northlands appear so often but not the Northern Mountains?Argulor (talk) 01:01, October 6, 2016 (UTC)
Books[]
Should there be a section listing which books the northlands appear in? I’m more familiar with the earlier book and believe of the first 9, the northlands appear in books 4-6 and 8. AsmodeusTheAdder03 (talk) 09:21, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
I think there should be a books section elaborating which books the northlands appear in, similar to what some other articles have. Unfortunately I’m not as familiar with the later books, so I can only offer an incomplete list. If anyone could enlighten me as to which books after “Pearls of Lutra” they appear in, and if there’s any earlier ones I neglected to include in my comment above, I’ll be able to add the section to the article.
