Tribes of Redwall: Hares was scheduled for publication on February 2, 2006, but this did not happen. Sources later insinuated that March 2006 would be likely for publishing, but again this did not happen. This is believed to have been a planned accessory to the Redwall series, similar to the other Tribes of Redwall publications. Current status is unknown.
