The Netflix TV series is something I’m so excited about. In addition to all my favorite stuff adapted in the Nelvana books, we’ll get to see all the stuff that’s never been adapted. “Mossflower” has quite a bit of this so I’ll go through it all.

1). Argulor the eagle. Ah, yes, good old Argie. I can’t wait to see him in the Netflix version. Eagles are awesome and of the two that appeared in the series, he was by far my favorite.

2). Stormfin the pike. Another one of my favorites. Considering he fights the guy whom I think a videogame was based on, I think including him is necessary.

3). Deathcoil the snake. Unlike the other characters on this list, Deathcoil never appeared in an illustration (Lord Cayvear even appeared in one), so he’s nothing more than a figment of my imagination. So including him (and his newt friend Whipscale) is a must.

4). Bat Mountpit. I can’t wait to see Bat Mountpit, as it’s definitely one of several highlights of the book. It’s too bad that bats only appeared in one book afterwards, but it’s always nice when stuff you like is only used occasionally, makes it kinda special. They were definitely overdue for another appearance though, another appearance though.

5.) And finally, there’s Snakefish. As the only sentient fish of the series, he’s especially unique. As he’s also sort of a villain, sort of not, he’s also a pretty interesting character, so it will be interesting to see if Netflix chooses to make him more of one than the other.

And that’s who and what I’m most interested to see in the Mossflower adaptation. For honorable mentions, I’d also like to include Chibb the robin, and the mentioned-only Ovus Skyfurrow, who hopefully might make a visual appearance in flashback.

Is there anything or anyone you’re looking forward to finally seeing be brought to life? Feel free to share!
