17 Years of the Redwall Wiki
Seventeen years ago today, the Redwall Wiki was officially launched!
Why it matters: This website is the number one news and information resource for everything related to Redwall and author Brian Jacques.
Flashback: Since our last anniversary, we've brought you a lot of great Redwall content, including information on the Lost Legends of Redwall mobile app, a look at the Mossflower uncorrected proof, a review of the Lord Brocktree ARCs, and an in-depth reveal of the planned season four of the Nelvana Redwall TV Series.
- We've published interviews with illustrator Chris Baker and TV series artist Steven Ahola, as well as showcased the Blacksheep UK editions of the Redwall series.
- Several of our feature articles involved foreign editions, including the Thailand Redwall and the two different Czech Seven Strange and Ghostly Tales.
The big picture: Redwall's tales of heroism and the epic battle of good vs. evil are on track to resonate with an even larger audience, as we're still greatly anticipating the Netflix movie adaptation of the book, and a Martin the Warrior event series.
State of play: We've also written about Redwall's second appearance on on Jeopardy! and highlighted the output of cover artist Thomas Canty.
Plus: Over the past several months, we've revamped and overhauled critical areas of the site, primarily related to templates, making articles even easier to read on mobile devices.
The bottom line: Redwall's timeless stories leave an impact on readers for years. Some fans get Redwall Tattoos, others share the books with their children. We're thrilled to continue informing you about all things Redwall. Thank you for sticking with us all this time, as much more is coming!
