Redwall Wiki editor and member of the online club Dibbuns Against Bedtime Dorothea Duckfontein Dillworthy (also known as Dotti) recently wrote a letter to Brian Jacques. Mr. Jacques apparently responded rather quickly, revealing some interesting tidbits of information:
Thank you for your most welcome letter.
I am very pleased to hear from a [Dibbuns Against Bedtime] founder, I am very fond of those rogues.
Please be assured that they will be appearing in my next book to amuse and confound all the abbey creatures again.
I am about halfway through this next book and working hard to have it finished before I have to set out travelling again.

The first thing of note is that Brian mentioned that the Dibbuns Against Bedtime will be appearing in a future book! However, given that The Sable Quean is likely in the hands of publishers, he may very well be referring to a future Redwall 22. Either way, this is exciting news.

Brian was indeed referring to the 22nd Redwall novel, The Rogue Crew, which features a DAB appearance (as does The Sable Quean), in his response to Dotti. We have a clear timeline of when that novel was in the process of being written.
